Shipping Policy

At I Know Parts we utilise a variety of different freight company's to ship our spare parts to customers. All of our web orders are  shipped using TNT Express australia. We have found TNT express to be the most economical and reliable freight option for shipping goods Australia wide. All other orders are shipped using a combination of couriers including Toll Priority airbags, TNT Australia & Tamex transport.  If you do not wish your web order to be shipped by TNT please get in contact with one of our friendly staff to organise another one of our alternate  freight options. Extra charges may apply.

I Know Parts reserve the right to charge on to the customer any additional expenses passed on to us from the freight company in relation to delivery of the goods. You as the customer must ensure someone is available to sign for goods on delivery or provide us with an "Authority To Leave" note  when ordering if no one will be available to sign.  Redelivery fee with TNT costs $24.20inc and will be invoiced & charged on to you if this situation arises. Alternatively we are quite happen for you to organise your own freight company and we will prepare your goods ready for shipping with your freight provider.

If the goods ordered are in stock. I Know Parts will endeavour to ship them within 1 business day of receiving your order. If there is any kind of  issue and we dont expect your goods to leave in this time frame  one of our friendly staff  will get in contact with you to inform you of this delay and discuss possible alternatives if  any.

If the goods ordered are  currently not in stock. I Know Parts will get in contact with you to give  an indication of when your goods will leave our store. With branches Australia wide we can generally have goods back into stock the following business day. Once we receive goods  we will then ship  within 1 business day of having received into our store. For an additional charge you may wish for us to ship goods direct to you from another branch if situation is time critical. We will provide this options if possible when we contact you regarding the freight delay. 


I Know Parts website is only setup to provide online shipping for Australian Based customers. If you are based overseas and wish to purchase goods from us you will need to contact us via phone or email and one of our staff will price up the cost of shipping goods to your country based on the size and weight of the consignment. We only provide international shipping via the  Australia Post network. If you wish to use your own freight company we can pack up goods ready for collection by your courier of choice.
